SBI Clerk 2016 : There is a great news for all the bank job aspirants. The much-awaited job recruitment notification is out for 19,575 vacancies. The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the SBI Clerk recruitment of  (i) Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) (ii) Junior Agricultural Associates in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. It also includes the special recruitment drive for i) Tura (Meghalaya) and Kashmir Valley and Ladakh and the special recruitment drive for filling up of backlog vacancies in respect of SC,ST,OBC,PwD, and Ex-Servicemen. All the aspirants willing to apply for the above is required to fill an online application form from 05 April to 25 April 2016. State Bank of India will conduct an online examination in two phases  viz. Preliminary and Main Examination for the selection of the candidates. The Preliminary Examination of SBI Clerk 2016 will be held tentatively in May/June 2016. Detailed description of which is given in this article. SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2016 

Every candidate must read the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. It is a set of terms and conditions set in the aspects of age, nationality, and educational qualification which a candidate must satisfy in order to become eligible. We have compiled all the conditions of eligibility in the following paragraph.
Essential Qualification: ( as on 30 April 2016)
(i) For Junior Associates: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
(ii) For Junior Agricultural Associates: Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognized university/Institute.
  • Candidates who are currently in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before 30 June 2016.
  • Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or  before 30 June 2016.
Age: Applicants need to ensure that their age must not be less than 20 years and more than 28b years as on 01 April 2016 which implies that the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1988 and not later than 01.04.1996 (both days inclusive).

SBI Clerk Application Form 2016 

The application form for SBI Clerk can be filled through online mode only. Applicants can avail the online application form through this page. Last date for applying online and fee payment is 25 April 2016. It is essential to upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the appropriate format. Utmost care must be taken that only correct and complete details are filled in the application form.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to a un-reserved category and reserved category (SC/ST/PWD/ExService-men) have to pay Rs. 600/- (App. Fee including intimation charges) and Rs. 100/ (Intimation Charges only), respectively. The application fee can be paid online mode only using the debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.

SBI Clerk Selection Process 2016  

The part and parcel of selection process include several stages – online examination comprising of Preliminary Examination and Main Examination followed by the test of official and/or local language and subject to Government of India approval, interview. Finally, a merit list is drawn using the normalized scores of online exam and personal interview. Selection is purely made on the basis of inter-se merit list.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2016 

It is important for the candidates to know that the selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written test (preliminary and main exams) and personal interview. The preliminary examination which will be conducted online consists of objective tests for 100 marks. The test duration would be 1 hour consisting of 3 sections English language, Numerical ability and reasoning ability. The number of questions for English Language is 30, numerical ability is 35 and reasoning ability is 35. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing the passing marks to be decided by the bank in order to get themselves shortlisted for the main exams. The duration of the main exam will of 2 hours 40 minutes comprise of 200 marks. The allocation of marks and no questions under different sections are, for general /financial awareness the no of questions and marks allocated is 50 and for general English it is 40. The allocation for quantitative aptitude is 50 and for reasoning ability and computer ability, the no of questions are 50 and marks are 60. And each test will have different timings. Remember there will be negative marks for wrong answers in the objective tests. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates who have qualified in the main examination will be placed according to their marks in descending order in respective categories.

SBI Clerk Admit Card 2016 

Admit card would be made available to those candidates who fill the application form and pay the application fees successfully. Hall ticket would not be sent to the candidate’s address in post or courier. Candidates will be able to avail their admit card via online mode only and they must bring their admit card while appearing for the exam. Also, you must paste your photo on the admit card and attach a photocopy of the government approved photo ID proof. On the photocopy, mention your roll number, registration number, name, and signature. You must keep the admit card safe till the recruitment process is complete.

SBI Clerk Cut off 2016

State Bank of India will decide the cutoff marks for the shortlisting of the candidates for the Main Exam and Personal Interview. The cutoff is decided keeping in consideration a variety of factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants appeared in the exam and others. It is essential that the candidates must qualify the cut – off applicable in the different stages of the selection.

SBI Clerk Result 2016

SBI will issue the result of the exam on its official website. Candidates have to open the official website and download the PDF file of roll number of selected candidates. In the PDF, if they are selected, they would find their roll number. Based on the result, candidates would be selected for next round of selection. If a candidate crosses the cutoff, he would be selected. All the rest will be rejected. The scorecard will be issued once the recruitment process is over. To see the scores, candidates have to enter their roll number, password, and date of birth. Final SBI Clerk Result 2016 of the merit list will be posted similarly on the official website. Additionally, an email and SMS will be dropped to the candidate’s email ID and mobile number respectively informing about the result.
